I read the first three questions of your intro and all but screamed "NO!" Huge relief upon reading the fourth. For a moment I thought someone had found a way to answer the first questions in the positive which would cause me to permanently shut down my computer, pack my bags and find a deserted island.

Well, if I found someone who had the Yes answers I'd be right out there on that desert island with you. We as humans need all the little mysteries to keep us motivated, otherwise we turn to killing each other. The deepest of mysteries lie within us.
It's the same with time travel. Thank whichever God is responsible that Time Travel is written in as absolutely impossible, otherwise we'd all be stuck in space time discontinuities. stick around, because I'll probably publish an introduction to the Impossibility of Time Travel soon, when I have more time to write, that is.
