I took a dive into a Non Sequiturs Land

In my second visit to this Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I came upon...

Sir Temporal Bandit,
Knight of Dubious,
But Still Perfectly Seamless Logical Arguments,
Keeper of the Lost and the Freebie

...and I thought, "Fascinating fellow. Nice title!"

I then took the time to send him a note to let him know of my existence, and I then took notice of a post on his journal called "Non Sequiturs".

I took a dive into that Non Sequiturs conversation chain, and I then added a new (what I thought to be) chain. However, I then realized that my new chain will only serve as a small bit of nonsense in the noisy system. But! ...By my act of will, what I added does matter.
Or, I took a dive into the crazy world and I then got afraid of being drowned; and I made a good impression despite my fear.

The Non Sequiturs conversation thread is a good example of what I think of the world (...you can even name universe, but I haven't been off the earth to know what the universe is like).

I think I live in a nonsense world -- what I like to call Crazyland. But throughout all this noise (...and the metaphor I use to describe humanity and everyone else would be that of nattering budgies in a glass aquarium...) there is harmony. So, despite my fear of insanity, the seeming insanity or the noise that is this world actually has purpose and is in harmony, such as like notes of music being played by an orchestra.

I am an ego, a person, who wants to fit in but not be repressed as I fit into the insanity that is actually harmony. I want to fit into the orchestra of different instruments and not be drowned by those notes being played or I do not want to be repressed by other powerful personalities.

My two starting premises or feelings that build my perspective are that 1) I am first afraid, and 2) the world seems scary to me.

But my close friends and family have noted that I am brave because I am afraid.

I mostly hate being fearful, nervous, skittish, and wary. But my close family and friends have said that I am brave; and being brave means to face fear.

So I found the Non Sequiturs conversation thread and then I took a dive in. But I then stepped out because being brave is tiring.
Like the Non Sequiturs conversation, I think the world is a fascinating place. But I really tire in it, which means that I then have to step out of it or not be driven insane by it.

I, Leiann, have discovered this BBC website by chance. My intentions gave me an unexpected turn. smiley - smiley

Well...

I was thinking about the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", and I decided to look it up on the web. However, I did not expect to touch on this place.

But what a marvelous surprise!

I then decided to take hold of this unexpected but most appreciated opportunity by establishing a place for my story to unfold.

I first started writing for others to see at www.livejournal.com. But I wasn't brave enough to express a character (who is a reflection of myself) and her story for others to ponder, laugh at, think to be tragic, not understand, and finely appreciate her funny journey into the profound.

I believe everyone has a story. For myself, I like to express it through a character named Vive-ann.

Vive-ann (pronounced *Vive* in the French manner, and then *Ann* in the English way) is like Alice who goes down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. But the difference in her journey is that the destination is not crazyland. Instead Vive-ann leaves a world that she can no longer exist in and arrives into one in which she can live to her full purpose.

For now, that is all you can know...

...mostly because I can't sit in front of the computer endlessly, and I have to relieve myself to that place the British call the Lavatory.
