Just read "Language". Good stuff! (I hate most poetry). Lost my way in the last line, but I'll sleep on it and come back.

Goodness, what a happy surprise to find someone digging up in my previous homes old work, and then troubling to leave a positive response. Many thanks - and for tolerating my linguistic rants.
Don't worry about "getting" the ultimate or preceding lines, but do try to enjoy the web of ambiguities I try to weave suggestively.
Do you go in for poetizing yourself recumbent man? btw like your name.

I write like an early-musician (which I am) in the old style of metre and rhyme. You can see some at the foot of my home page http://www.Andrew.Robinson.net
My name derives from my bike which you can read about in A901036 "Recumbent Bikes - the Future is Laid-back"

What a treat. I particularly enjoyed your apology (in the ancient sense) of motorists. I am a fan of well used meter, with rhymes that don't clunk with dread unsurprising frequency. I'll enjoy chasing up some of your music references.
cheers,
