Pessimistic optimism
To open, I don't expect that many people will come here to learn much. I mean, let's put this whole thing into perspective for a moment, shall we?

I am Everett Cole. The very name instills <B>no</B> fear, dates me back a millenia, and forces me to spell both the first and last portions to rude telephone salespeople who call when I am having dinner in the shower.
<P>
But at least the sun is shining. Probably rain tomorrow, but at least I can spend this moment lying in the sun, baking cancer into the back of my brain as I sit peaceably amongst the milling throng.

Well, this is life, such as it is. Good luck to you all, and don't get hit by the bus.
