So, uhh... hey! Come here often?
The first thing I said today on the subject of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I said just under 5 minutes ago. I sent an IM (Instant Message) to my friend Neil saying, "Hey, you know what? I am now Researcher 116020 for the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy - Earth Edition." He typed about how he was clapping his hands for me, and I bragged about how amazing I am, so needless to say it was a small ego boost!
Well, since this is my first ever entry, I'll tell you a little bit about myself! My name is John, I'm 18 years old, I'm fairly tall, about 6'2'', I live in Sarasota, Florida, in the USA, and I consider myself a nerd (In the good sense of the word! I have this discussion with my mom all the time... "John, you're not a nerd!" "Yes I am, mom! I love computers, I know how the internet works, I play Magic: The Gathering, I know how to play dungeons and dragons, and I hang out in bookstores!"). Ok, but when I say "nerd," I dont mean a geeky little wimp who would rather do homework and study latin than go to a good (american) football game! I am a movie fanatic (Go see American Beauty and Fight Club), I LOVE to act (Stage, Screen, You name it!), and I am quite well-known and well-liked throughout school! It's just that I love computers, I know how the internet works, I play Magic: The Gathering, I know how to play dungeons and dragons, and I hang out in bookstores. Nothing wrong with that.
*WARNING!* SHAMELESS PLUG! *WARNING!*
If you're REALLY bored, check out my personal web page at http://members.tripod.com/~Skyshroud3/index.htm" >http://members.tripod.com/~Skyshroud3/index.htm and browse through interesting tidbits of info from my personal life, Peruse your way through my vast galleries of pictures of myself, and the world around me as I see it, and dont forget to sign the guestbook!
Now that that's done, let me just say that I am REALLY excited to share my knowledge with the world, as am I eager to absorb what the world has got for me! Until later!
-John
PS - I am VERY Eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Portable Hitchhiker's Guide! Good luck to those working on it!
