Notable Marvel... are you sure that you speak English?? I thought it was more of an American drawl... but I could be wrong

The word 'English' is probably not the best term here then.
'English' also noticably changes depending on what part of England you are from, if my endless addiction to 'The Bill' will testify.

I don't think I've ever heard of that certain bodily function being referred to as a bill...but in the case of the US congress, I suppose it's a fairly good discription!LOL

Hmmmm! I was referring to the *passing* action actually! In England we don't use impolite terms (!) for that natural bodily function... we *pass* water and *pass* excrement!!( medically known as ~stools~... I have no idea why!~ ) LOL

ahem - thanks for sharing
NM - 'The Bill' is a cop show from England - sometimes very good, sometimes not so. It's main advantage over it's American counterparts is that, for the most part, it's a pretty good attempt at realism in a police drama.
Just keeping you up to speed.

Now that NM has the wonderful new-fangled invention called cable/satellite TV... I am sure that he will look out for it
I always thought that NYPD Blue was fairly realistic though... am I wrong in that assumption?

I'll keep an eye out for the show. I don't recal hearing it mentioned on BBC/America, but then there are quite a few that you get which we don't.
NYPD Blue got quite a bit of praise from several police departments around the US for it's realism, as a matter of fact. Never got to watch it much.....never been a big TV watcher.

Cumon' Wowbagger! There's got to be one! A director, writer......At least you give good subjects!(Crocodile Dundee.......2 was better!)
Should I mention the latest craze(and crazy man) on American TV?...."The Crocodile Hunter"? He's one of yours and absolutely insane!!!!!
I can't remember his real name, but he and his wife run a zoo and spend a goodly bit of air time playing with as dangerous an animal as they can find! It's highly entertaining, but I project he'll have a short lifetspan!

Yes I know all about THAT fellow, but I was trying to think of something of quality.
My lovely wife would point out the soaps - Neighbours, Home and Away and the like, but she watches Aussie soaps for the same reasons that I watch B-Grade sci-fi. LOL
