Space Camp

Well, I just came back from Space Camp, otherwise known as the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, and what an interesting trip it was. We, being myself and the gifted education class of my school, having completed both science and history projects, got to go on a field trip to Huntsville. I and five other people stayed one room in the on-site habitat for three action packed days. I learned about the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Space Shuttle programs, and how the International Space Station Project is unfolding. I saw the Redstone Arsenal, a Saturn V rocket, experienced 4 G's, and saw what was once the world's largest water tank. I met a few people, two of which are worth remembering: Chris and Joel. Chris is a student at Auburn A&M (Agricultural and Mechanical), and what both he and I consider to be the Coolest counselor there. Joel is the big chief of the Habitat, has prematurely gray hair, and has a well practiced and quite amusing speech. All in all, it was a pretty fun trip.smiley - smiley

Thoughts on Happiness

This may sound a little used to all the thoroughly "guided" people out there, but I believe that the primary purpose of life is to be happy , and extremely so, for as much time as possible. Everybody who has ever become sucessful knows this, whether they are aware of it or not. The root of all industries is keeping people happy, in one way or another. People like Bill Gates , Trey Parker, and Robin Williams have found a way to keep people out of depression that they are particularly able to do, and they get their happiness from giving other people a good time. Everybodies most primal urge is to be happy, and this urge exerts itself every time we buy a beer or read a book. We all just want to be smiley - smiley

Intentions at 3/25/00

When I grow up, I have every intention of living forever. Or at least for a few hundred thousand years, until I am quite tired of, bored with, and pissed at life, the universe and everything. i believe it is quite possible to do this, what with the miracles in genetics and nanotechnology I intend to make. I want to have done everything, been everything, and seen everything before I die, and I intend to keep going until that is so.smiley - fish
