All about me, not about you
It's me, Thinker, and i'm finally updating my frontpage. I'm 14, 15 in about a month and a third, and i'm a freshman in a Liberal Arts Magnet High school. I'm still into anything funny, but my primary interests other than that are quantum physics, metaphysics, philosophy, zen, and public speaking. I'm a low bass in the Columbus High Advanced Mixed chorus, one of about 20 guys total.
I've just recently joined another site that tries to form a knowledge base from actual people, www.whquestion.com . It's free to join, and you can ask anything. Other members answer your questions, usually within 8 hours of asking nearly any question. The less obscure questions can expect answers from a few hours to a few minutes after asking. Members have motivation for answering correctly, because the points recieved earn you prizes. At 1000, you get coasters, at 5000 a t-shirt, etc. I'm trying to split my time between here and there, and I'm trying to think up a topic for my next entry. (Note: i recently answered a question about sites wanting freelance writers by refering the asker here. I think he'll dig it.)
I'm undergoing an ongoing project of introducing language into the local lexicon: words that slipped out of use simply through bad associations, like "groovy"; words that are simply continuations of trends in language (everybody, anybody, "onlybody"); and anything besides "fine" as an answer to "how are you?".
I need somthing to keep me coming back here besides the joy of being a part of the Hitchhiker's guide, so to anybody and everybody out there reading this, please, respond with anything. You could say i'm desperate for correspondence, but i haven't gotten a response to anything for about 2 weeks. I'm probably going to go on a rash of posting some time soon, just to send up flags when people search.
