TJS 101 - Introduction to Thad

If the things that I say make absolutely no sense to you, just keep listening. I'm not likely to actually say anything more coherent, but every now and then, or so I've been told, some sliver of cleverness or humor has been seen falling out of my mouth.

I find that searching for a good, old-fashioned adventure in America is one of the more difficult things you can do. Especially considering that my idea of a "good, old fashioned adventure" includes legendary swords, slavering hell-beasts that drop treasure when slain, ancient castles, and princesses needing saved from whatever great evil has happend upon them today.

While venturing through any random shopping mall will find you confronted with slavering creatures of all types, the rather offensive lack of legendary weapons has kept me from discovering whether or not they drop treasure once defeated in combat. Also, you'd be surprised how many castles, dungeons, and distressed princesses we blatantly don't have around here.

At some point, I realized that video Role Playing Games, science fiction/fantasy literature, and an abundance comic books may have skewed my perspective on life somewhat. Still, I find that my world is much more interesting than the ones that my local peers seem to inhabit.
