I don't want to be complainy and annoying... but I will be.
I just checked out the new link on my page, and although it is the same one as the one in post 1, the content is different from when I clicked on the link 20 hours ago. In general, I don't mind the differences. In general.
The swords link can stay if you want, but I think it's kind of strange there. The sentance isn't actually talking about the metal things you cut people with, but rather a genre.
My footnotes: Aiiai ai! The first one (the "as well as his first published book") works fine being in parenthesis. The complete deletion of my second footnote, however, I really must argue. That footnote is vital to the content. Do what you will to it, but please leave the information in the Entry somewhere!
I like the unordered lists. Very pretty!

The 2nd footnote has been added in () for you.
I understand that the subbing process often throws tangential links in to other h2g2 entries so the link to the 'swords' entry stays.
Perhaps someone will write an entry called 'Sword and Sorcerey' soon, then the link engine will pick up on that instead.
The 'written by' function does, indeed, work on user numbers, although this may change when new features are introduced.
