Hello Ming! I thought I'd stop by and leave a link for you: http://www.h2g2.com/forumframe.cgi?forum=24942&thread=48870 -- that'll take you to the thread at which I've added my analysis of your name (it's at my NameReader site too, but since you're HERE and since I'm hoping to read more names HERE it seemed to make sense to draw attention to the fact that you're my first NameReading client HERE too!)(that's enough HEREs for one message, don't you think?)
I've also standardized my name a bit. I keep forgetting that it isn't exactly obvious that someone whose name is Magnolia in one place and Lotus in another place is ... actually the SAME PERSON!!! Anyway, happy bubble-wrapping.

Ahhh, I was wondering when I'd manage to get back to your site. I'm not very good at remembering what I was going to do on the Internet and usually spend all my time HERE instead of remembering to do something else... So thank you loads for the link and I will pop over in just a minute.
Yes, you're probably very wise to change to Magnolia. Lotus and Magnolia really don't sound very much like the same person...

... the explanation for my names is this: Magnolia is a nickname my sister gave me when I was 18, for reasons best known to her, but it sounds a little teeny bit like my real name. And Lotus is part of the meaning of my surname. I've never actually used them together like this, but now that I have, it feels kind of right. And yes, they ARE quite different from one another! Sometimes I feel quite different to myself.

(What is your real name?!) (you don't have to answer that...) ( )
I'm glad it feels kind of right. I was originally The Jellyfish Beep here, but that just didn't feel right... I'm much more comfortable with Ming.
Or Ming Mang.

I think Ming Mang is a HUUUUUUGE improvement over Jellyfish Beep (oops, sorry, no offence intended towards jellyfish)!
My real name? Well ... you'll have to work for it. It IS possible to find it and not very difficult at that (not on board this ship, tho'. You'll have to take out the shovel attachment on your mouse and dig through space for a bit). But are you sure you want to know? Personally, I far prefer Magnolia Lotus. I believe it's more thoroughly ME than my real name.

Mmmm. I think so too.
OK, I won't try to find out your real name...
(and I don't know where I can get a shovel attachment for a mouse)
