Yeah, I'll see if I can do it! I really do hope I get the time, sometime, to update my website. These days I'm really very busy with my art and other aspects of 'real life'.
I'm not sure if you know, but I've been planning for very long to start a botanic garden. This will not only showcase plants, I'll also use it for attracting and breeding reptiles, amphibians, mammals and birds, and for other purposes as well. I really hope I can get to do that. There is a good possibility ... if I do it I'll do it with the involvement of other people. My mother and father will be in on it, and also some family friends of ours ... a retired local preacher and his wife, and their two sons and their wives, and possibly their daughters and their husbands/boyfriends as well. Maybe also my sister and her husband. It will also become something of a 'kibbutz community', a retreat from the insanity of mainstream society.
Right now there are already people in town raising awareness about reptiles and insects! We have two snake parks ... one a bit out of town to the south, the other in the same direction but a bit further, at Meropa Casino. Well I hate gambling but that casino has some other attractions as well. The snakes etc. are held in a park called 'Wild World' and they have quite a selection of species, many of them very beautiful. I'll sometime go take photos again. Anyways, the do there have the Corn Snake! And it is indeed an American species.
At Wild World they also have an interesting thing, a 'butterfly garden'. They have there a selection of plants and they breed the butterflies whose grubs feed on the plants. The place is enclosed and the butterflies flutter around in there. They also have some of the flowering plants whose nectar the adult butterflies drink. It's an interesting conept!
Insects and other invertebrates are quite fascinating to me. I've found, with my plant cultivation, that the way to attract very interesting insects is to cultivate a wide variety of indigenous plants. In many cases, I wonder, just how do these weird insects manage to find their way to my garden??

Hey, are you still here? I've been away for a while ... my modem really sucked, and then it broke! I've been offline for over a month, but now I have a new modem, and I'm back! How are things?
