The who's, whats, where's, when's and how's of Tao.
PREPARE TO BE ENLIGHTENED! (or at least completely confused)
I am gratful to the Guide for giving me this opertunity to share with you the wonderous thing called the Tao. My views of it anyway.
The first thing you need to know is that Tao is pronounced 'Dow'. And the first thing you need to get over is the fact that Chinese words that are translated to English have no phonetic logic to them. Do not worry about why, or how this came into exsistance. It is a frutless attempt to build order where it already exsists, and could quite possibly render you blind or impotent if you think too much on it.
The second thing to know is simply put, "Nothing". That is to say you need to empty your mind of all you know and start from scratch. You may see examples of this 'emptying of the mind' in my typing, where in I will forget how to spell at random.
That is the basics of Tao. Or at least a starting point from which you can learn without stumbeling over your own feet. In my journal entries I will try to accomplish an overall view of the subject, it's main priciples, and general things to think about to accomplish the fairly inexplicable task that is knowing the unknowable!
