DNAtheism

Having seen your patient and accomodating comments elsehere in regard to the havoc caused to many homepages by the 'mod.s' I just had to come look at yours. You, obviously, have done some recent renovation and redecorating in the new approved style and I think it works quite well.
If I have not already been categorised as a 'trouble-maker' in your cosmological view, perhaps I can ask your expert advice on a matter of 'theism' and actually have you take me seriously.
Before I use 'DNAtheism' or 'DNAgnosticism' in a more public forum, your opinion of the perception would be helpful. As a self confessed and proud, longstanding atheist with agnostic tendencies (according to your homepage), you would be sensitive to the knee jerk reactions taken by many when they see the words atheist and agnostic.
Do you think DNAtheist will be percieved as a theist of DNA, ie someone who sees DNA as god. Or would it be seen as a negative slur against our spiritual leader.
The grammatical structure is correct for my intended usage. If a mono-theist believes in one god, and an a-theist is without a god, then surely my construction means one who believes DNA is god.
If there is any chance of the 'mod.s' misinterpreting my intentions I will refrain from ever mentioning it again. Your help in this matter is appreciated.

... Hmm, you've spotted a small bug in version 2.0 of my non-conformist package. My earlier incarnation was vaguely agnostic, but since then I seem to have evolved in the direction of determined atheism. This probably has much to do with the influence of the good heretics at h2g2's Freedom From Faith Foundation, which - if you haven't already discovered it - is linked to from my homepage and is worth a visit. I recommend that you address your spiritual concerns to the members of that forum, as then you might get a bit of intelligent group feedback rather than just one guy's voice. (Besides, I think they're on the lookout for a talking point at the moment, as people are drifting back slowly to the site.)
Actually, I'm not quite sure what you're getting at to be honest. It is probably true that the words atheist and agnostic tend to be used a little too freely - and I'm guilty of this myself too, as I say above - but I think that if someone is going to blindly react against the use of either word then it's probably them that has the problem. As for DNA, I guess his own views are pretty strongly atheist, so I doubt that anyone would misinterpret what you're trying to get across. For myself, I tend to avoid references to the Hitchhiker's series as much as possible while I'm on the site, as I find they get a bit repetitive after a while. But I think it's fair to say this doesn't reflect the majority view - in fact, the word 'repetitive' might even be considered heresy, and get blanked out by the moderators before you have a chance to read it )...
Keep on making trouble...
