Everyone except Steph-
Steph believes her father over us because that's the way she feels right now. Depression does that. It attracts misery. Her dad makes her feel more miserable, and because she already feels miserable, it just adds on.
We talk about this in music therapy. It's the Iso principle. She will only listen to what she agrees with.
Depression also lowers self-esteem. So, it's like she is blind. She doesn't see the complete world like we do. I used to be like that, and it takes a lot of support to get out of it, and for that I thank you all. You are AWESOME friends!!
Steph-
Remember how I said you are "blind" right now, and don't have all your senses? This is exactly what I'm talking about. This is the perfect example. You have to trust me on this.... don't listen to your father. If you have to, don't even listen to us until you feel better. We speak the truth, only you can't see it now. But, DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR FATHER or the depression. You know what I mean.

I have given up on my father now, twice i have tried to talk to him about how i feel, and it got me nowhere.
