...because I sure as ain't gonna come up with one for you smiley - tongueout

It is alas the end of the semester. Not a final is stirring, and if it did, I'd whack someone over the head with a PVC pipe. smiley - tongueout I've had enough of classes for a while. I have a summer course (for one month), trying to yet again get more general ed cr*p out of the way (that's the thing about the American education system I'm not a big fan of). Other than that, parents want me to get a job. Doesn't sound like a bad idea...saving money for some undisclosed purpose...yeah...smiley - winkeye

By the way, for those who don't know, Kat and I broke up last December...and I'm over that now...

I did join Jujitsu, but due to finals and weather, I haven't been going as often as I should have. I'll pick it up soon...for the last few weeks before I move out...

...hopefully the band will start actually doing stuff next semester ...will be good....

The Student Game Developer's Association (www.sgda.org) will be more interesting and more involved next year. We're even going to start making a game s a club (and if we get our hands on the Unreal Engine (because of the contest mentioned in last journal or he one before...well, YAY!!!).

As for now, gotta relax......maybe start setting cut off dates for Comcast and TXU for the end of the month. Roomates are moving out in the next week or two smiley - sadface. Ah well, I still have friends who'll be here during the whole summer so, yeah........................................*mind wanders and returns*

I need to pay the cable bill at some point.

Went to jujitsu yesterday...it was very very fun. At the moment I have leaerned the wrist locks nd have struggled with the forward and backward rolls. All come with time and practice. smiley - smiley

Worked out in the gym today. Worked on weight lifting and a little bit on the treadmill. Hopefully some day, these new muscles will arrive. smiley - smiley

Calculus is being a bit of a pain. Stupid tests for infinite series. smiley - erm

..but despite that smiley - tongueout I seem to be having this feeling of happiness radiating from me over the past week or so. Something I haven't had in quite a while. I hope this continues. smiley - smiley

I do miss some of my friends on here...Paul, Rat, Theory, Sarge, PF most noticably, among others (whose names I could not think off the top of my head). If any of you guys see this, please post a response. smiley - smiley

meh

Some people have said I should write a new journal entry. So, back by popular demand, here I go:

I (and a team of other people) have been working on a mod for Unreal Tournament 2003. Details later when I feel like writing more, however, we're entering it into a contest , and if we win, we get a license to use the Unreal Engine, allowing us to go ahead and produce it further into its own game, which we can sell. smiley - smiley

Classes seem alright. Meh, next year will be when these classes get really more interesting.

More later. Just feel very lazy, and I have 3 tests in the next week or so smiley - yikes

Trouble in Paradise...again..

My laptop has died again smiley - grr...second time in the last two weeks. Wouldn't be so much of a problem if it wasn't the end of the semester and lots of stuff due on Monday. Hopefully, I'll make it through and get it repaired (by the tech people on campus, I know my dad can do it but I don't to involve him in it, think he'll get mad at me for not backing up again (I haven't had a chance all week to even install the cd-writing software))

It was just Windows that died, but without an OS, it cannot really work. I have a Reinstallation cd, but it works in DOS and I have no clue how to work it (all my stuff is still there though, from what I can see, which is good; and I'm going for the recovery procedure rather than a clean (re)installation of XP, which just repairs my old installation) *sigh* smiley - erm I'm in a lab right now by the way, in case you're wondering...

Everything that has a beginning has an end

Yeah, I know, first day of release and I'm there again smiley - tongueout

...wasn't 'alf bad either...just that, if you're planning to see it, remember this: It is a continuation of Reloaded, and thus looks the same and everything (for the most part)...
..it seems people who are polluting the BBC site with bad reviews have forgotten that smiley - grr

Go, see it. It's weird because as mentioned before, it is a 2-parter with Reloaded, but well worth the ticket price (and DVD when it comes out). smiley - smiley
