Welcome to H2G2....I think you will do just fine! Oddly enough you will find individuality here(and other folks who can't spell, as well!)
Let me turn you to a great link http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 it's the ACE's Homepage....lots of links and info just for new Researchers.
If you have any questions, just ask(yeah, right here!). If I can't help, I'll find you someone who can!

Hi Truffy, Perhaps Fairly Strange was referring to researchers who cant spell "az wel"? :-) There are even people who spell "it's" as "it’s" I still haven't worked out how that happened, maybe (’s) is pronounced ( ' ) round these parts who can say. 8-) Nice signature by the way and well worth a nomination for this weeks "Most gratuitous use of the word Arse in a forum posting competition". :-) If you like silly names take the time to look up "http://www.h2g2.com/A310249" The problems of little Dicks and Willys. That's not just a shameless plug for an entry it's also a request for some more names, and for any suggestions yoy may have as I suspect by your comments you may be schooled in the mystifying art of "Grammar".

I suspect you may be right about FS's post, it depends on how you read it . As for my Granma, I haven't seen her in ages. Must get down there soon...
Names, names...hmmm, let me think. Years ago, when he was funny on the radio (rather than boring on the TV, and now of course boring and not on the TV) Noel Edmonds was sent some (supposedly true) names of patients in a hospital. I forget most of them, but Rosey Nips has always stuck in my mind!
Also years ago on Nationwide (the TV magazine programme) there was an interview with a old boy who sallied forth under the name Valentine Card.
I also seem to recall a Peter Nis, but don't know if this is a figment of my fevered imagination or a true name.

Hi Truffy, Thanks for names and misty eyed memories of the days when Noel Edmonds was funny. Thanks for your Valentine Card I also love your Rosey Nip(p)s * And P. Nis Errm maybe I'll rephrase that. * I had a little trouble locating a Nips but eventually found a Nipps lurking in Reading. Not had any luck locating a Nis as yet But found lots of Ness's, perhaps Ness is close enough for jazz and a childhood of grief. I will list them as soon as I can work out how to name you as a co-editor.

Hi there Strangely Fair dude, No problems at all with your Grammar, to quote Shakespeare: methinks this world doth need a few more Rednecks. But I have been puzzled by this subject title since day one. What does ROTFLMAO!!!! mean or stand for? What does astonish me is that my spell checker seems accepts it as a valid spelling for something??? but what?

ROTFLMAO is an acronymn for....Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Arse Off!
That having been done, I must go and visit!
