Well the lighting is fake, obviously - I faked it!
It's odd HDR better mimics the human eye but it can be waaaay over done and usually is but what you get from it are boosts to colour, shadows and highlights.
However a consistent comment I got from different quarters was it was too close to monochrome so in 2.0 O tried upping the vibrancy and decerasing saturation to pick up what colour is there but not making it look like an explosion in a paint factory!
Now it's got "high colour" - - being colourblind this I find confusing. I have a hard time imagining what other people are seeing in my image.

Perhaps "high colour" isn't a great description, something like "hard colour" would be better, in that the colours are nicely defined. There's now dull blending that you get with a lot of photos.
