...but on a certain thread you might want to point to research that discovered that an awful lot of people hear voices. Perhaps some of them are undiagnosed schizophrenics - possibly undiagnosed because they've decided to stay away from doctors. Or perhaps hearing voices is simply part of the rich human tapestry of etc. etc.
(I'm told, for example, that some people don't have any form of auditory internal dialogue).
Don't have a reference, I'm afraid. It was on R4's 'All In The Mind' a couple of years ago. Or maybe the Laurie Taylor thing. Or Case Notes.
