So you have had a lovely party...

In RL I didn't have a party as such.

I've got ym final year project due at the end of the week, since were are outside of semester time the campus is not deserted but runnign a skelton crew. All my friends have left so I've just kept my head down and got on with my work. Howver I did make myself a lovely steak dinner and buy that bottle of port I mentioned and some new DVDs.

The party will probably come late next month. It my dad's 56th in late September so we are going to have a grand 80th Birthday party between us. That should be fun and I'll be with family again then, so I'm loking forward to that.

Incidentally this is the first time I have ever celebrated my birthday either a) alone or b) whilst working through it.

Because I was born so late in August I have always had my brithday either a) during the school holidays or b) during the summer break from university. Now I'm on post-grad and workign to a different timetable at the sprightly age of 24, this has been a first for me.

It wasn't so awful bad and on the whole I did have a nice day. and it was made all the better by people like yourself and titania turning up out of the blue, a few e-cards in ym in-box,and a surprise gift from my next-door neighbour which was totally unexpected and very appreciated.

So yeah a good day.


and I've got more steak and more port this evening. yipeee
