I'm glad you found a home with the Thingites - their are many groups on h2g2, but in my entirely biased opinion, we are the bett and most maddest.

I'm impressed you like Death to Smoochy. It's an unrecognised classic in my opinion and little seen. My favourite Movie is probably The Shawshank Redemption. (on the basis that I never grow tired of watching it )

Where I wonder did you get the impression I was an artist? I draw occasionally. mostly cartoons, so er.. pencil, ink and crayons. I'm colourblindhowever so I coulour in as *I* see fit. I also write - I have an ongoing story called Storytime (which are all linked to at the top of my space - the latest third installment is still being written. ) But I don't consider myself an artist. I'm impressed you want to animate as a career. I volunteer in a school (ambition: train to teach primary/elemtary school kids) and have promised the kids when I get back to England from staying with my finacee in America, to show them how to do simple animations using flip books. I figure that will keep them entertained till kingdom come.
