I think that dress... is either one of the same dresses as... or a dress of a strikingly similar style to... to these... these THINGS... that we had to wear to do Cinderella once... not me of course, I had to wear a frighteningly unattractive, heavy thing, but those... only maybe with slightly more... I don't know, but that dress looks so much like the one that Kathleen bitched and bitched about until her eyes squirted out of her head and bounced wetly across the dressing room.
Well, not literally.

Yes, it's funny how corsets and pettycoats will make normally sane women into bitchers of the nth degree...
Actually, that dress is surprisingly light. It beats the first one they wanted me to wear. The one that had spent it's previous incarnation as draperies and a sofa slip cover... It was hideous. Green and gold... blech!
Anyway, Hi! How've ya been? Last I hear, Ant was out here on the 5th? Did you have a good time?

LOL Yeah. Ours didn't actually have the all-out corset stuff going on. They were simple costume rental bits and pieces. Kathleen's a bitcher by nature.
If Ant was out here on the 5th, he must have changed his mind at the airport and gone home!

Ah. I misunderstood the timing on that then. For some reason, the 5th is stuck in my head. 5th of October, maybe?
Actually, I'm doing another part for the show tomorrow (the show where I wore "the DRESS" which Charlie has amusingly named the "Velvet Train Wreck.") The funny part is is that I don't know my lines or blocking.
Ah, the pleasures of the swing understudy. The joys, the triumphs, the anurisms....
