Welcome to my World!!
Yippiee!! The Garlic and Vitamen C seem to have done the trick, I'm now feeling alot more froody (was that what Zaphood Beebrox used to say, or am I mixing it up with someone else?). I don't really know what other people put on their home pages, so I'll just put a little personal introduction, and that will have to suffice for now.
O.K. I'm 27 (on the slippery slope I fear!), have been married for just over two years, no kids, and don't intend to have any just yet! I'm currently a mature student, my background is business and marketing, but I'm studying for a HDip in Library and Information Studies, hopefully in another couple of months I'll be a professional librarian. It's been a long year! I hope to emulate the Librarian in the Unseen University in that I will be able to travel in space and time, but I'm also hoping that orange body hair and floor-scraping knuckles are optional!
My husband is a welder and a foreman on a construction site, so by default I'm pretty well up on welding terminology, health and safety issues and so on. My own areas of interest are fairly wide (one reason for the decision to become a librarian). I read lots of sci-fi, fantasy, childrens literature (begins to sound a bit escapist n'est pas?), crime fiction, popular science,nature, the Technology Section in the Sunday Times and so on.
So far all I've seen of h2g2 has impressed me hugely, and I'm only sorry I didn't discover it sooner - I can see my phone bill escalating rapidly, the temptation to check out the latest will be really strong. Hope my studies don't suffer too much with this new-found pasttime.;-)
