Alcohol and cocktails (and other stuff :) (like makin' money)

Alcohol is a liquid that a lot of people around the world consume on a regular basis. Both because it tastes good (when mixed properly) and because if you drink enough of it, you get loaded. How much alcohol you have to drink depends mainly on the size of your body (The larger the body, the more alcohol), and if your body is used to alcohol or not. <BR/>
<BR/>
Alcohol is not a pure liquid though (that's only possible under lab conditions, I think). It's mixed with other liquids too, thus giving possibillity for a lot of different tastes and strengths. The most known alcoholoc liquid is Beer (I guess). It is not very strong, (ranging from non-alcoholic to about 15% I think) so you can drink pretty much beer before you pass out (passing out is NOT recommended, most unpleasant). Other very famous alcolic liquids are Whisky, Rum, Vodka, Gin, Tequila and Cognac. Most of these has an alcohol percentage of 40-60 <BR/>

You can drink these (and others of course) straight or they can be mixed with anything you want in order to make a cocktail with a taste you like. Perhaps the most common thing to mix with a hard liqeur like Rum or Whisky is cola. Cola allows the liqeur to taste through while adding a kind of sweet taste, instead of the burning you might experience when drinking a liqeur staright. The mixing percentages is up to the individual, of course. <BR/>

At the <a HREF="http://www.webtender.com" >http://www.webtender.com">Webtender</a> you can find a lot of cocktails, information on different types of liqeur, drinking games and so on.....I don't know exactly how many cocktails it's got, but it's a lot. To give an example it has 1236 different cocktails that contain vodka. And it has non-alcoholic cocktails too. A really good site in my opinion. <BR/>
You can even add a cocktail to the database yourself, if you have a good one that isn't already there. (The only downside to this is that it takes over three months from you post it 'til it appears in the database).<BR/>

Alcohol can actually be healthy if drunk properly. A drink once in a while helps prevent cardial diseases according to scientists and to doctors. It is recommended by the same people, though, that women don't drink more than 14 drinks per week. The number for men is 21. (A drink is 2 cl. of 40% liquer, or one beer of 4.6%).<BR/>

On the other hand, if you drink too much it can be very unhealthy, and people will start calling you something along the line of "drunken b*****d". If you don't know if you know if you can be classified as a "drunken b*****d", i suggest you take a look at this list: <BR/>

Hardcore) which is a kind of techno music. Some the best artists are 3 Steps Ahead, The Prophet, Technohead, Buzz Fuzz, Party Animals, Search & Destroy, The Speedfreak, Alcoolik Row and MC Rage. <BR/>

<a HREF="http://www.dune.com" >http://www.dune.com">Dune</a> is a german band that makes rave-music. (For those of you who don't know what that is I can only say that you should visit the site and download bits of their music or videos :) <BR/>

If you don't know <a HREF="http://www.weirdal.com" >http://www.weirdal.com">"Weird Al" Yankovic</a> aka. The Prince Of Parodies, I suggest you go to the nearest record store and buy everything he ever published. "Weird Al" makes parodies of songs/artists and write hilarious songs himself. He also made a movie called U.H.F. but unfortunately i haven't been able to find it anywhere so I can't say if it's any good. (If any of you know where to grab a hold of it, I'd be happy hear from you). <BR/>

<a HREF="http://www.creednet.com" >http://www.creednet.com">Creed</a> make pretty much the same kind of music as MetallicA. They have contributed songs to both the Halloween H20 soundtrack ("What's This Life For") and the Scream 3 soundtrack ("What If" and "Is This The End"). <BR/>

<a HREF="http://www.rammstein.com" >http://www.rammstein.com">Rammstein</a> is a german heavy metal band who write some pretty "unusual" lyrics (they made songs called "Bestrafe Mich" (Punish Me), "Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen" (Do You Want To See The Bed In Flames) and "Bück Dich" (Bend Over) :). They contributed a song for The Matrix soundtrack called "Du Hast" (You Have) and a song called "Engel" (Angel) for the Mortal Kombat II soundtrack. They also contributed song to the Lost Highway soundtrack and to Wing Commander Prophecy. Most of their songs are in german but they have recorded a few in english too. <BR/>

The last one is an <a HREF="http://www3.50megs.com/pscholten/Rindex.html" >http://www3.50megs.com/pscholten/Rindex.html">Unofficial Rammstein Fan-Site</a>. It has lots of pictures and videoclips you can download. As you can see on the pictures, Rammstein put on a fantastic show using incredible pyrotecnichs. <BR/>

If you want to make a little money (or a lot) while doing close to nothing, visit these places and sign up. It's absolutely FREE. (Don't forget to write devast8or in the field that says referrer). The first three places send you e-mails with ads from companies, and the two last ones lets you download a little program that shows you ads while you're online. These can of course be disabled if you finf them annoying. The ones that send you e-mail pays you a certain amount per e-mail, and the other two counts the time you have been online and pays you a certain amount for each hour online (I think it's a few bucks, but i don't remember for sure)ppppplllllllzzzzzz sign up and refer me *makin' puppy eyes*
