THE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGEING
Posted May 25, 2008
As a child brought up through the 60s i remember that i used to hear regularly people say, "its a free country isnt it". I always knew that survailance would come under the disguise of health and safety when I first read George Orwells 1984...Its the destruction of basic freedoms that upsets me the most though...As an example, one of the greatest joys a
person can experience is to ride carefully on a country road,on a hot sunny day, with the wind in your hair, on a motorcycle without a crash helmet.A joy lost forever, as are many more. What aspects of loss of freedom do you miss the most???
