SCRIPT FINISHED. HAVE A NICE DAY (23). . . .
Ah. Hello, there, Dear Visitor. Do sit down! I hope you weren't bored overmuch while the script utility made the room up. I'm afraid I've not had time to replace it with a permanent room yet, and it's a bit buggy, too. Seems it made me a terribly large chocolate rabbit that seems to be grinning like an idiot. And a matching rabbit-hole. Charming. It must be April.
Let me explain while I'm getting your coffee how terribly excited I am about being a researcher here. Sounds to me like there are some really wonderful things going on here and a bunch of interesting people I may have the good fortune to meet. Unfortunately for me, I've spent the last several weeks not doing any research or even the barest update to my own little home here.
Online time for me has generally been limited to the occasional research and plain old surfing, which is fun for a water mammal. Y'know, to be surfing underwater? Right, sorry.
So anyway, research and wasting time looking at video game sites like http://www.bluesnews.com" >http://www.bluesnews.com and movie sites like the excellent http://www.darkhorizons.com" >http://www.darkhorizons.com and http://www.imdb.com" >http://www.imdb.com. I admit I've started to enjoy playing games like http://www.quake3arena.com" >http://www.quake3arena.com, which I look at as a uniquely human fault. Oh, well, I suppose I've got to assimilate into human culture somehow.
Anyway, here I am, stumbling upon h2g2, and I figure there's a good shot that I can do something useful to more beings than just me with my online time. Useful at all, for that matter. So here I am, and I plan to pop out and have a look at the site. If I can think of anything to add, I'll get right on it.
I do hope that you, dear visitor, know a bit about the place and wouldn't mind giving me a hand in getting settled or just looking around. If you'd be so kind as to leave a hint about what you personally like on the site or even a full-blown tour, I'd be more than glad to accept. If not, feel free to just drop on in and converse with my chocolate rabbit. :-)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
