Something about me
My name is Helen and I am 55. I was born in Sussex to an English mother and Welsh father.
I inherited many things from my parents - some good, some medium and some which are downright annoying. My height, eyes, nose; love of reading, history, countryside, wildlife; attitudes, morals and standards and my health are some of those things and include all three categories.
I deleted a more detailed list of inherited attributes as I was being boring. I love history in general and family history in particular. Like reading and watching films and some television. Writing is a pleasure when my brain co-operates. I am enthusiastic about preserving the past and the need to learn from it.
I also enjoy a variety of music, including rock, pop, folk, some blues, classical and progressive bluegrass and even some country.
Have enjoyed motorbiking and fast cars - drag racing - street rods, speed boats, countryside, wildlife, live music, travel in the UK and abroad.
Family is very, very important too.:)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
