Greetings fellow Hitchhikers
I live in The United States, in a suburb of Detroit called Dearborn, in the State of Michigan. If you have even a passing aquaintance with the automobile, you might recognize Dearborn as home to both Henry Ford and the Ford Motor Company.
By the way, for my friends from the UK, the 'ch' in Michigan is pronounced as an 'sh' sound. The first sylable rhymes with 'dish' not 'which.' Thank you.
As my nickname suggests, I do travel quite extensively, mostly in from the East Coast to the Midwest. I cover 13 states in all, plus the District of Columbia. In square miles, I am fairly certain that you could easily fit France in my territory.
Yes, territory means that I am a traveling salesman. I sell instuments used to prefrom root canals. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I am not a sadist by any means, but I do find the work very enjoyable and interesting.
I am also a great fan of Primetime Television, and an avid reader of fiction. A few authors I can recommend: Robert Jordan, Tom Clancy, Douglas Adams :-), Ann Rice, Orson Scott Card, Terry Goodkind, Stephen Ambrose and a few others. Please feel free to ask for specific titles if you like.
I am usually willing to offer lenghty discourse on any number of topics, whether based on fact or not. If your'e not in the mood, its probably best not to get me started.
One thing I would probably enjoy talking about is the area in which I live. It has quite a bit to offer, and if your'e coming to visit I would be happy to act as your unoffical cybertourist information center. We've got some pretty great things here, dont let all the bad press sway you.
I hope to hear from any number of folks, so thanks for stopping by.
Joe
