To move on from there, I understand you are having problems getting your links to work, I had one gent who had this problem and I found that if he used the thread numbers he could enter the area without reading the front page. ie A643907 is for The Potato Army You may find you cannot access that page, but you could enter via a playing thread:- ie http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F78193?thread=538372&latest=1 You may need to adjust it a little at your end, but it might allow you to enter the thread and post. these aces that have previously posted have been very polite as far as i can see and i'm sure always will be, because they are nice people..
but speaking from someone who's not an ace..and is also an ex LD'er& a digibox user can i just say a thing or two...

US ex LDers & digibox users have had a hard time on here,were always having to try and prove ourselves worthy of being on this site,now the majority of us that are left love this site and use it to what its intended for....
this is not an intended chat site -therefore all the material written is for everyone to see all over the world,that includes 10year old children upto 90 year olds,..
it is NOT anything like LD,there are no adult rooms,hidden rooms or explicit adult material that you could find on LD...
aswell as that speaking from being a mother,i would personaly hate to find any sort off "bedroom"antics on here as i'm sure most others will think the same...
personally i am always trying to defend LDers/digibox users,as are others on here,and have had many an arguement to prove..

as i once told one lad this is not a chat-up room,this is a nice site,with pleasent people,if you want that kind of chat then you need to take it elsewhere..or look in the directorys under hookers....

being on digibox you are unable to access all areas,but there is still plenty to look around,alot of interesting stuff
