Field Researchers By-Tor & Panacea
Arthur (By-Tor, see Special Note below) is from http://www.h2g2.com/A255818">Vernon (commonly refered to by its residents as Nowhere, Vermin, and End of the Earth) http://www.h2g2.com/A143849">Michigan, USA. He was one of 900 residents in an insignificant micro town. He was always a huge fan of Brittish comedy and grew up watching http://www.h2g2.com/A167708">Monty Python, the origional Who's Line is it Anyway, and reading the http://www.h2g2.com/A5815">Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Arthur actually got into Douglas Adams when I recieved the origional http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/infocomjava.html">Infocom Game when he was about 13 and played it for hours, barely making it past the bulldozer! Since he generally "sucks" at video games, He decided on reading the Hitchhikers Guide as it would be more relaxing and better on his blood pressure.

Melissa (Panacea) is from http://www.h2g2.com/A255962">Burton MI, USA and is the wife of Arthur. She has a degree in English and Resource Planning from the University of Michigan. She grew up under the same Brittish influences and so she shares the same sense of humor as Arthur. One of her all time favorite shows is http://www.h2g2.com/A156476">Mystery Science Theater 3000, an American show with realitively dry brittish-like humor. She was exposed to Douglas Adams by her husband and has been hooked on the Hitchhikers Guide ever since!

Special Note: If you are saying to yourself, "I know that guy, I met a very entertaining , funny, and witty person on the internet a while ago called By-Tor" chances are you are mistaken. The name By-Tor (from the english term biter, as in one who tears or rips with their teeth to inflict pain or other physical stimulus) comes from the Canadian band Rush and was a character in two of their conceptual songs By-Tor and the Snowdog and the Necromancer. Rush is an extreamly popular band and most fans refer to themselves as "By-Tor" on the Internet when they are asked for a nickname. So chances are I am the 1,345,265th By-Tor you have seen in your journeys through Cyberspace.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
