So what have you been up to lately?

I've been working on my bf's house, searching for jobs and doing work experience (related to my degree). I've also obtained the 25 edited solo entries badge and have a scouts badge. I'm also trying for the photography one too. However, I wonder if I've taken up too much stuff.

Been very busy trying to get the bedroom ready for the next born, working and book balancing.

Well done on the entries. So long as you aren't stressing yourself you are ok.

I'm stressed with the fact I keep going to interviews but not getting the position!!!

I enjoy it here on h2g2. Writing entries is my passion.

All you can do is keep trying unfortunately.

I feel like I'm juggling here. Articles to write, photos to take, things to read and participate in, rediscovering the joys of work. However, I do being busy. Just one thing I've found I need to work on my people skills in confidence, assertiveness etc. My voice reflects how I struggle to interact with people I don't know.

It is good to be busy Though too busy can be tiring after a while.

Its all about self belief, and you do have every reason to believe in yourself, after all, others do Believe in you I mean...

That's true but that's what the weekends for and recharging those batteries by doing something different.

I think my self belief has been some what battered over the years but I am thinking of ways to counteract it like doing what I enjoy and achieving challenges. I also have been thinking of cbt. Do you know much about it?

CBT stands for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, that is the way we think. Picture your mind made up of cogs and thats the way you are wired perhaps to be a pessemist. Now if you change that you could be an optimist.

aww ... not sure what to say. I think it's strange when some people say that I don't believe in myself for others to somehow believe in me. I don't know how.

Do you think its right for my bf to go playing golf when I'm about and knows he sees me very little? also what do you think of paintballing and that sort of thing? oh and he contradicts himself. I first questioned whether that was a male thing but I may be prone to doing it too I guess.

Can't really comment. I'm not into golf or paint balling, but I know it is good to have occasional moments apart doing independent things. As with anything its getting the balance right as of course you still need to see each other as well
