We have all shared and laughed at misheard lyrics, not least us Germans, Danes and Borderline Krauts when we finally learned what we *really* heard on Radio Luxembourg back then in the late 60's and early 70's

misheard lyrics. Dusty Springfield sang,"You stopped and you smiled at

I really liked that Janis Joplin song... "Oh Lord, won't you buy me a mercy dispense".

I remember Steve Miller Band singing "Abra abra cadabra - I want to freak out and stab you..."

Only they didn't, which is porbably just as well
