ive sent email, couldnt get on h2g2 for days, the lib as closed as i said for 20+ weeks so cyber and intouch cafe will be the only options for now.

Jim asked me to forward a message that he will try to get to the cyber shop on Wednesday depending on the weather, failing that it will be Friday.

Jim has said that after he did his shopping, the skies opened up to rain, snow, rain, etc and it was far too cold to go to the cyber so it could be Thursday or Friday before he can post anything on h2g2.

I wish it were snowing, but it seems that only Scotland and Northern England are getting any.

Jim has asked me to pass on a message saying that he had a serious problem with gas valve that had a hole in it behind his gas fire and this was taken out on Thursday and he is going to have an electric fire put in and on Monday he is going to have the fire place plastered. He may be able go to the cyber shop on Monday but that depends on how long he will have to wait in for the plasterer.

I hope they seal that gas leak before sparks start flying!

Jim telephoned me to say that the could not get into his emails today when he went to the cyber cafe. He has got extra pennies coming next week and that he celebrated his birthday today

talking a future, it looks like our. hole in the ground, for the new shopping center, we have been getting for over 8 years is to start again for the third time in jan next year lol jim

Did I ever tell you we have a similar hole? Due to the crisis they haven't w*rked on it for a few years now. Lately the company behind it has tried to sell the project

And then there is the famous old restaurant next to the town square. Or rather was, it burned down years ago and nobody seems to have the money to rebuild it

So it's two eye sores centrally located smack dab in the middle of town. Our tourists are speechless
