this is true, but it also gives a lot to read, and im pretty sure that thats always a good thing. unless its something boring for school. in that case its never ever good.

Yeah, I like reading long posts, but some of them can get pretty boring. You have to be careful.
Isn't it fun having three different conversations with the same person at the same time?

Devoidj Posted Apr 5, 2000
you know, i was just thinking about that, that it was really weird, and really cool that im having 3 different conversations with the same person at the same time, i was thinking how difficult that would be in real life

I love to read. The last two books I read were Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and The Color of Magic also by Terry Pratchett. I can't remember the last book I read before that, I don't get new books often. I usually just read the ones I have over and over.
Talk about reading, P'hul reads like a mofo. Have you ever read A Confederacy of Dunces?

Devoidj Posted Apr 5, 2000
i havent read a confederacy of dunces, what is it?
is the color of magic one of the disc world series? those are all so awesome, i highly recommend "feet of clay" and "jingo" (i think thats what its called) so does that mean that you have the color of magic? and if so, can i borrow it
note: good omens is one of the coolest books ever!
i dont buy books often either, thats why my school library keeps sending me letters saying that i owe them money

lol
I straight up stole the hitchhiker's trilogy and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency from my high school liberary.
Color of Magic is the first in the Discworld series, and yes you can borrow it.
Confederacy of Dunces is an amazing book. I can't even describe it, but it rules. The thing about it is it has a lot of words, and coming from me, that's a LOT of words. I've had it for about three years and I haven't been able to finish it. Not that I don't like it, I love it, it just drains me to read it. And, P'hul read it in a day.

Devoidj Posted Apr 5, 2000
wow, a day huh? how long is it? maybe you should loan that one to me too (although i cant guaranty that ill be done with it in a day)
oh yeah, and YYYAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY about you loaning me the other book.
someone stole my copy of dirk gentlys holistic detective agency, grrrr!

I loaned someone (you might know him, his name is Tony and he's really quiet and a nice guy) my stolen copy of 'the Guide' and he never gave it back. So, I don't loan those out because of sentimental value.
I would loan you Confederacy of Dunces, if I knew where it was. I can't find it, so I may just end up having to buy another copy, which is probably a good thing since my copy was all jacked up from P'hul reading it so fast.
And how long is it? My paperback version is around two inches thick. And, that's small type. I'm serious, it has a LOT of words.

Devoidj Posted Apr 5, 2000
well cool, the book im reading right now, is about 2 inches think i wouldnt exactly say that the type was large
and if you buy confederacy of dunces does that mean that youll loan that one too me?
i try not to loan out too much stuff, because i hate it when people dont give back the stuff that they borrowed. that or its all jacked up after they give it back. grrrrr

P'hul didn't mean to mess it up, it's just that I never got far enough myself to bend it like that.
Yeah, I'll loan it to you. But I wanna try to finish it first.
I don't mind too much when people don't give my stuff back as long as I can replace it (don't get any ideas, it still pisses me off!). Because then they have something that reminds them of me.
I'm not going to reply for a while, because I need to update my hymnal. It should only take about 30 minutes.

If you ask me, it's just human nature. We are ambivalent creatures, sometimes confused by our own feelings, which seem to be in conflict.
Our feelings conflicting eachother also seems to be totally natural. After all it happens so often and to so many people.
Anyway, as far as I can tell, there nothing wrong with you Maybe a person who confuses you like that isn't the correct person for you to hang around with, but that's just a long shot in the dark... Who am I to judge that?
