when you have two completely different feelings for a person? I have a friend who I either love or hate whenever I'm around him. I don't know why this is, but it's not what really bothers me. What really bothers me is feeling both of these things at the same time. Like this guy that I wanted to go out with. Nothing came from that, and now part of me still likes him, and another part wants to rip his head off. Is this just me, or is everyone this crazy?

you know, i honestly have no idea what they call that, but i think that there should be a name for that as im sure that is probably a very common occurance. anyway, i definately dont think it is you, and im fairly sure that everyone is that crazy, and if someone isnt that crazy, im sure they would be very creepy!
actually, is that what they call a love/hate relationship? i think that there should be a better name that for it, if indeed that is what its called.

I guess that it could be a love/hate relationship, but for some reason that doesn't seem right.

so how else would you describe it? and do i know the person or people that your talking about? i think i know one of them because i think we took a walk around the wreck and talked about it that one night that the chicken was there.

Yeah you know that one.
You wouldn't know the other one, just an old-school friend from south side.

Devoidj Posted Apr 2, 2000

i dont know, thats why i was asking you.
you see, i have such a hard time rememberng people that i just rely on everyone else to know everyone for me. although it is kind of embarresing (sp?)when in large groups of people and someone comes up to talk to me and i turn to one my friends...
me: do i know this person?
my friend: yeah, i think so.
me: do i like them?
my friend: no, i dont think so.
me: oh, well then lets go.

No, it's not just you. Tons of people have problems remembering people. Some of them even forget me, if you can believe such a thing.
Take Alex, for example, I used to talk to him at the club like six years ago, and when I saw him again when I started going back out, he didn't remember me. Not even my face, which really made me mad. It wouldn't but since I remember him and he doesn't remember me, he probably thinks that this is because he is some important person in the 'scene' (you know how he is).
I have to get off now, my mom wants to check her e-mail. Talk to you later.

you know, i think you are big on remebering people and having people remember you. the first few times i met you, you were all like "who am i?" like it was an interogation or something.
ok, i talk to you later
ps. yes, i know how alex is, especially since im also an important person in the "scene" (j/k)

lol Man, I hate Alex.
It's because I hate being forgotten. I forget maybe 2 people I meet a year. I forget names quite a bit, but I rarely forget faces. I just want to be treated they way I treat others. Or maybe it's just because I'm a self-righteous bitch.

Devoidj Posted Apr 4, 2000
so why do you hate alex?
personally, i like being forgotten, nothing in the world like when someone leaves you behind and never looks back, ahhh good times
and i dont know if i would call you self righteous (j/k)

Maybe I should have said self-important.
I want to be notorious. "I want those who get to know me, to become admirers or my enemies" like Adam Ant. I'm serious about this, nothing bothers me more than having no effect on a person. Am I messed up or what?
I hate Alex mostly because he forgot me, and then he told my friend Jeni that he remembered when he didn't. He was at her house (who knows why) and she was talking about 'little gothic Alex' (which is what we used to call him) and he said that he was lgA and she said something about me being pissed at him and that was when he said that he remembered me after that. If he remembered me, why didn't he act like it the next time I saw him? Because he thought that he was better than me, since I remembered him and he forgot me. Yes, I am messed up.
I'm also one to hold a grudge. In case you couldn't tell.
I'm rambling, sorry.

well first of all, dont worry about rambling, i think its cool when people ramble. secondly i hope that i never make you angry so you never hold a grudge on me. and thirdly, dont worry about being messed, everyone is messed up, normally very very messed, take me for example

I don't think you would give me a reason to hold a grudge against you. Which is good, because I'm having a hard enough time trying not to hold a grudge against someone.
I wonder, are you more messed up than me, though?
Good, cause I ramble a lot. And respond to statements in the wrong order as well.

Devoidj Posted Apr 5, 2000
well i think we'll have a grand old time writing back to each other seeing as how we're both messed up, and we both tend to ramble. i also tend to go off on tangents too

Robotron, formerly known as Robyn Graves and before that, GreyRose Posted Apr 5, 2000
I agree
I haven't gone on too many tangents around here recently. But I have been known to in the past. My main problem is that I remember so much about things that have happened that I go into way too much detail. And, that takes a lot of writing.
