I think what we have here is a lack of motivation dah-lings...
What with there being a massive influx of new people, the established characters felt left out and probably decided not to post... i'm not saying that having new people is a bad thing, but we didn't need new Bond girls, as E had that role already (I know it's a different bond girl every movie, but that would mean E would be left out from DAF)
Also, I hoped that my, ahem, 'death' was not going to be permanent, but a dramatic plot device and an established film ploy (killing a lead in a dramatic way and bringing him to an even more dramatic ressurection)
What I suggest is perhaps a rethink of the opening sequence.. Well luvvies?

Hi there, what's all this about, I knew those screen writers had gone OTT this time. We need a rewrite.

Well....to get around the new/established character thing..........we could do something like a "special guest star" thingy........or something like that which might work... ?

(...and, I think PP was feeling a bit more left out than I would be..because there wasn't any room for his character from last time in DAF at all....)

I think a new opening sequence is most definately required. In my opinion, the last opening sequence sounded like it was more from an Indiana Jones movie than Bond... But that's my opinion... I just read the lines i'm given...
We need a classic opening sequence which is millenial... Perhaps Bond can be on the London eye or something...
Let's throw some suggestions around
I have images of Bond parachuting onto the Eye to do...something... because the opening sequence is never usually to do with the rest of the film...
And yes, the bad guys need to get themselves organised... There seemed to be at least four different bad guys with agendas... if there was a boss (Looks at PP) and the rest could be the high ranking henchmen... these are just ideas... nothing concrete, so please, don't take any offence...

How about the Olympic Stadium in Sydney?

With some massive action sequence involving russian athletes and ending up with Bond lighting the flame...

Something like E's taking part in the Olympics or something along those lines... Bond's checking up on her to see how she is... or something... snipers... or something...
