I'm an old Douglas Adams fan
Hi I'm new, age 46 so I was doing my (Chemistry Maths French) 'A' levels when The Hitch Hiker's Guide was hitting the airwaves ...wonderful.
I read popular books explaining uncertainty principles, quantum mechanics, entropy, relativity, - all the mind blowing stuff. Did an Environmental Science degree in the end (at Sussex just at the end of its radical period) but failed to meet anyone interesting of my age, being terminally shy.
Well one failed marriage later I find myself living in the wilds of West Dorset, so removed from life that I'm about to move to Exeter in search of - well everything to be honest. Meanwhile maybe there's someone out there in cyberspace.
One question - those cyberworld site things, are they pointless?
Unless you are a single parent in the wilds, I mean/?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
