Great job on your scientists and physicians. I am really impressed by Indian medicine. It is much superior and holistic than western medicine which just treats the symptoms and not the whole person.
You might want to check out Dmitri's story in

Yes I've another entry on queue on Indian scientists from the ancient and medieval period.
I'm overwhelmed by reading the entry A87821599 by Dmitri is written in tribute to my entry (A87820914). That's really great. The entry itself is very interesting. I've also watched Peter Brooke's Mahabharata, long time nack when I was a school kid. It's an excellent rendition of this great epic.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed the Peter Brooks version even without a Near Death Experience or morphine. But the original epic is truly fascinating. Thanks again for bring it to our attention and sharing it with readers. Everybody enjoys good stories! Even those who are too 'superior' to believe in gods or heroes.
