My Dad - Ernie Hill
My Dad died in 1959 when I was two years old. He was a great lover of horses and enlisted in 1938 and did a 12 year term. He spent time in France and Sicily with the 1HAA unit of the Royal Artillery. I am trying to piece together his movements in WW2 and joined the site in the hope that I might be able to get more info on him and his comrades. This search is finally helping me to feel closer to him than ever before.
