Oh, Dr St J, I just looked at the Researcher's birthdays and yours was last week, so belatedly: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday indeed! (Imagine me yelling this on your birthday for full effect)
I don't think I'm cut out for paperchasing... I still can't solve your clue.

How about an ickle clue to help on the one I'm stuck on? Please?

It may help to think seasonally. Not just one season though!

It's not helping so far, but then thinking never was my strong point.

You'll need to put both clues together. Although perhaps this one is a little obtuse. I'm sure you'll get it with a little perseverance though!

*Trying to look intelligent despite the fact I -still- can't do the school clue*
So, er, do they need to be edited entries, or can they be anywhere?
*I think I pulled that off without looking too foolish, or desperate...*

They don't *have* to be edited entries, but I think there's an 'unwritten rule' that if there are two entries on the same subject, use the edited one. Either way, there'll be a forum already started in the entry, with the first posting marked 'the h2g2 paperless paperchase' (although the title of the forum will be different.
Basically, you'll know when you're there!

I didn't think that clue was too difficult to compute, though maybe not everso basic, we must be nearly up to your forth clue by now...
Still thinking about mine.

I doubt it. I think the clue may have been a little *too* subtle. Um...

Hi Chaps, hope you don't mind me playing your little game too. I appear to have found the end of the trail so the new question is up and running. Have fun.

Ho hum.
It's me again.
I !*-still-*! can't do the school-day-dinner-break-time-lunch-biscuit clue.
I feel like a million dollars worth of breadcrumbs.
Bad, is what I'm trying to say.
Could you take pity on a poor barking-up-the-wrong-tree boy? I'm deaf in one eye as well.
PITY ME! (please)
Apologies for the outburst, I'm feeling all grubby.
