Hiya Abi
Christmas was pretty good thanks! Loads of food (as usual) - this year we had a goose rather than turkey. Although we did have a turkey on New Years Day.
After having got the boxed set of HHG being read by Douglas for my birthday, I got the boxed set of the radio 4 dramatisations of 'Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' for Christmas.
How was yours?

Oooh goose is lovely!
I had a lovely Christmas. I was totally spoiled, ate like a horse and drank like a fish!
My best presents were an Imac, a suede scarf which is amazingly soft and warm and a heated eyelash curler! What a modern girl I am!
So what are your plans for the new year?

The Researcher formally known as Dr St Justin Posted Jan 2, 2003
Heated eyelash curlers? Is there *really* a need???
Plans... I think the main one would be to find a job! Other than that, just see what happens I guess.

>Heated eyelash curlers? Is there *really* a need???
Well yes - because they make the curl last longer and they don't look like a medieval instrument of torture. Little chance of tearing your lashes out too.
So the job hunting is not going too well then?

Ah... so you'll be looking even more gorgeous at the meet then?
No, the job hunting isn't going well at all. I've got an interview on the 10th, but that's about it at the moment

I didn't say a word...(A)
oh well fingers crossed they'll have me on the MA taught course in Continental Philosophy.
I want to broaden my knowledge of this particular area so I can apply it better if/when I apply to go on a course of research.
It's all very exciting.

yup.
I was using it at university between mates there and never got out of the habit. I've never been quite persauded by the AIM's and Yahoo's of this world and I couldn't get the all-purpose multi messnger thingy to install.
