With all FP clicks going t0Pliny ---now why can't the other entries ever show up there? It would be more fair to the authors to rotate the entry between the three. Not having anything against Rosie's yoga article but I thought the Ouida and Discus entries were just as interesting, and unless people know the ripley FP, they'll never see these, let alone know they are there. This seems to be unfair to the authors of the other pieces and I would think that fewer clicks would result on that account. Since you are a Guide Editor I wondered what you and Gnomon thought.

Well, I see your point, to a certain extent, and on the FP of Pliny Ouida and Shotput are featured in the Newest Entries column, the tools to put them there were literally only built very late last night UK time.

We're still in the development stages of all of this - we're nowhere finished yet. At the moment, there is no way that the Guide Editors can alter anything on the Pliny front page at all, we just don't have to 'tools'. When Pastey has time, he will build us some, but until then we have to be patient.

The Entries are displayed there in exactly the same way that they always have been.

At the moment there is a bug which sends registered members to Pliny instead of Brunel front page - but we only have Pastey to do all the building and fixing.

Thanks for your concern, we do try to be fair to all the authors!

ps if you use Alabaster or goo, the front page appears normally. The problem is only with the Brunel link.

OK my fault for being wedded to the wrong skin. I found the brunel FP link but it is annoying to go back and forth, however it would be better for the stats if those entries could be swopped out throughout the week. But probably Pastey is too busy for that.
