Eh up Lanza - should I submit A301050 to the Update Forum once I've completed the update, or should I submit it to Peer Review as a new Guide Entry and say there it's an update of the original? I've never updated an entry before.
I'm working on it now and there's actually very little to be done, the original authors really knew their stuff, so I should have it completed within a couple of hours.

Hey I am delighted 
If you push it into Peer Review, with the original author's User number in the appropriate box ( visible in the Edit pane ) you'll be shown as the Edited by.
Make the title say UPDATE - UCAS and UK University Applications
Write 'This is an Update of A301050' in the information box when you are submitting to PR
Then if there are queries or proof reading typos, you can fix them for us in PR. Updates don't get a sub-editor, you will be acting as one for us in this case.
Once we're happy we just apply your version and it features on the Front page as recently updated.

Dear Lord I hate using GuideML. I'm trying to put it in, but when I preview the entry I'm only seeing the footnotes and not the rest of the entry. Any idea what might be going wrong?

You will have to give me tha A number of the new Entry, as I can't see it so far. I am guessing that you haven't got to the 'add this entry' so far?

I am just really grateful that you agreed. It appears we have an eager public out there who read the Guide. It is so thrilling to know that the things we write are useful to people - it makes it all worthwhile.
