Thanks Taff! It's difficult being new anywhere isn't it? thanks for turning the heat up back home in Blighty. I have to go back there for a week or so soon. It's quite hot here (on the Balcony) tonight, and am sitting with the patio doors open, listening to Radio 4 and amusing myself by chatting randomly! Mostly on the What just happened Thread.

Today it's just below my balcony, outside my part time home, in Lanzarote. Tomorrow, it will be a vague memory... and I'll change my tagline again. I'm not much good at staying the same thing for very long. But one thing is fact, I love living here, in the sunshine.

sounds nice,
i like warm islands, but only out of season
i spent 18 months in cyprus and found while 3/4 of the year to be pleasant the summers were just too hot for me
when the wife suggests a summer holiday my first words are "not anywhere hot"

been to teneriffe a couple of times
liked it early mornings in the cool with that strange type of light ang early evenings when the sun is going down and you can feel the air cooling,
hate the middle of the day, cant just veg. by the pool i have to out and about, usually end up in a bar hiding from the sun
supose thats what comes from being nocternal every other week

he is fine but not coming back, he says. and will not go into details and will not name names or mud sling as he puts it
