Max Sedgley seems to be a DJ who also plays drums in a band.
I don't have any sound on my computer. Maybe someday I can borrow one of his CDs from a library so I can hear what his stuff sounds like.

Today I boughta recroding of Murray Perahia playing three of J S Bach's keyboard concertos--on the piano, not the harpsichord. I knew Perahia was great with Mozart, but he's also superb doing Bach. smiley - ok

I bought a new stereo last September, and I found that I had far too few CD's to play on it. I've bought a lot of new ones since then. I probably won't continue to buy at this pace forever,

As you know, I travel from one place to another, so the music that is stored on this laptop is essential. I just plug it into some speakers and bob's your uncle. smiley - musicalnotesmiley - smiley

I've stopped buying CDs - my son seems to top up my music supply whenever he sees me - he has one of those external hard drives with the entire output of music from the known world stored on it.

Otherwise I'll download an MP3 from the Web. (paid - of course!) I listen to the Late Lounge from JazzFM site, and if I hear something I love then this is a scribble pad to remind me what it was. As you can't hear it, then I'll just say it is that sort of smoky, sexy, smoochy smooth, funky jazz that I like. The sort that you can write to, whilst listening.

On my to-do list I have some CDs to buy that have piano arrangements of classic show tunes. I think many of them are jazz arrangements. I like to hear piano music in the winter and summer. The last time I was in San Francisco, I enjoyed standing on the sidewalk, listening to the music from places with piano bars. Almost anything from Schubert to show tunes to jazz sounds great on the piano. After I retire, I plan to write and play a lot of piano music. Whenever there's a hurricane, I find that the only way to calm down is to play the piano. smiley - smiley

The world as we know it has no hope of continuing much longer. We can make big changes or face disaster. smiley - sadface Too many people will choose the latter. I don't know how we can save them...

I have a sudden urge to hear some Renaissance dance music, but all I have is Praetorius's "Terpsichore," and a CD of Thomas Morley's consort music.

I've found some other Renaissance composers who wrote dances music, though some are transitional into tjhe baroque era. Schein, Scheidt, Attaingnant, etc.
