Searching for amyP.;L/L/Waz; Zantic and Gnoman
Posted Jan 10, 2008
I am searching for my friends amy Pawlowsli et al,
They have been friends of mine since I first joined.
It appears impossible to find then.
I want to add them to my list of friends - as well as Gnoman and Zantic and L.L. Waz/ and I do not seem to be able to do it.
Can anyone help?

Darker mornings
Posted Jan 7, 2008
I wonder if many of you have noticed that although we have passed the shortest day of the year 21st December 2007, that the mornings are still as dark.
Last year, as my brother had died on the 17th December 2006, I was especially aware of the time that it became lighter in the morning. I noticed what I thought was an appreciable difference. That very soon after the 21st December 2006, the mornings became lighter I could not say what time - but it seemed exceptionally quickly.
However, the postion appears to have reversed this year.
Are we wobbling on our axil?Or is it axel? Or is it axle?
Please enlighten me - sorry no pun intended!

Home again!
Posted Jan 7, 2008
Yesterday, somehow, I managed to fly away from this site, into cyberspace.
It's the third time that it has happened to me. I might add, that in addition to being very ancient, I am having to get used to the idea the my sight is failing rapidly.
I believe that I shared with you the fadt that I am no longer driving. My darling granddaughter told me - ever so gently - that being deaf, and now losing my sight, that a car became a "lethal weapon" with me behind the wheel.
I stopped driving the day I received that email. She is totally and utterly correct.
But my goodness, one does lose my independence. Still I had hootoo to come to. And then yesterday I lost even that - again
Could I ask those people who would like to, to !become my friends!. I also lose my list of friends, and I have so many wonderful friends on this site. It does now take me time to find them again with my sight being so bad.
As I have said before
Getting old is not for sissies.
I have to do a lot of phoning today with regard to our move to Folkstone within the next two weeks.
With much affection to you all
Christiane
