DOMINO (caught the deluge in a paper cup)

You visited my page and commented on how you liked the Genesis tracks. So I thought I'd put a few more of them on there, including Ripples. My good deed for the year has been done. Enjoy!

Thank you very much! smiley - smiley
I remember this from my teenage years, when I was in a Youth Theatre group. Everyone seemed have a copy of it, and if there was a party or a gathering, the album was put on! Ripples was the favourite way to end a good evening.

The songs are on now so you can enjoy them at your will. I'm only youngish, but I've got a pretty good appreciation for music. Ripples transfers pretty well on to midi, Phil's high pitched voice is pretty well accomodated be the midi organ.

Coelacanth.

You just found another Genesis buff. Have you spoken to Towel Master (ACE), I believe he's just finished writing the definitive guide to the band this week. The first time I heard Ripples was at my first ever live gig, Genesis at the Lyceum Ballroom in London. This was in May 1980, I believe there is a great bootleg of this gig available.....somewhere.

Pleeze Pleeze tell me how you do that trendy scrolling colourr thang on your home page, it looks so cool!!!???!!!

Running back through the mists of time I belive it was around 1980 when I saw Genesis too. Also my first gig. I'm pretty sure it was Wembly though, but the old memory goes at my age.
Trendy colour scrolly thingie? Well, I could lie and tell you I am sooooo clever, or I could tell you the truth.
However, I always belive in the truth being the best way: I saw someone elses page with it, and though "How cool". Up top of your screen you have "VIEW". Go to "SOURCE" find the bit you want, highlight, COPY the go to your own page edit and PASTE it in. If it all goes horribly wrong it tells you.

So just keep going until you get it right. You are welcome to nick it off my page! (You can look at the SOURCE for any page on the web actually. I do this sometimes just to see what's there)

Thanks for that, I must admit I only have an idiots guide to HTML (Which is appropriate I suppose) so I'll try and work it out.

"Work it out"? That's the hard way! Just nick it. (Coelacanth's tip of the day). It helps you to make friends and influence people. You've no idea how many people, including your good self, think I know how to do 'stuff'.
*sniggers*
Idiots Guide is excellent choice.

Nicking bits, seeing how they work, then modifying them is the way almost everyone starts out in writing software so your at the first stage of becoming an expert smiley - smiley

Well you were going on to the theatre and you don't see too many guys in Hyde Park dressed up like that.

Unless you were going to the Rocky Horror Show ?
In which case you were overdressed smiley - smiley
