Thank you for thinking of me! Now there's someone I'd love to meet.

I can't do anything until term ends on 31st, since I have an overseas teacher as my lodger for a couple of weeks. However if the blank of the last couple of days on the itinerary includes something in London or the South East, I'm sure I can make it, daytime or evening as I'll be off work and lodgerless by then.

Dublin's edging towards the end of March, and London towards the beginning of April then. smiley - smiley

I want a photo of you two side by side. I want to see just how close that resemblance is.

How about the day or the evening of Monday 3rd or Tuesday 4th? The London leg is currently planned as being a day spent hopping on and off a tour bus, going on the eye and on the river, and a day spent in South Kensington going to free museums or on the South Bank doing Art.

We want to hook up with Italics past and present too, for obvious reasons.

This is getting 'citing!

Those dates sounds fine. Either, I'm on holiday so very flexible. I'm not sure the tour bus is for me, it's a bit too touristy, but the rest sounds a great idea. What does MoG want to do or see? I'm good with suggestions.

The photo would be fun too. smiley - smiley

I'm so glad you're free! I want to do the London Eye, River boat and touristy bus so I can kinda quickly 'see' a bit of everything and take a whop-load of photos since there isn't a whole lot of time. I'm assuming the smiley - bus goes by the major gotta-see-it stuff and I like the idea that we can get off and on as much as we like, but my heart won't be broken if instead we spend a whole day bobbling around in a single area that's cool. Just different ways of getting a 'feel' of a place. Typically when I go adventuring I'll hit a few tourist things, then wander around and do whatever strikes my fancy. I prefer not to stick to a really tight agenda the whole time because then it seems as if you're always worrying about what's next rather than about being where you are, and usually the little serendipitous surprises are the best parts. So I'm pretty flexible, would love any suggestions for things that aren't quite so touristy. I like talking to people in pubs, will bring along one of my books, probably the 'Questions for God' one, and will pester harmless-looking innocent bystanders to write their questions in it. I want to eat curry, sample all kinds of it. Mostly I want to meet the people behind the text on h2. I'm very curious to see how well my mental image matches up to reality as far as how people *are*.
