Hi there, I'm glad you decided to drop by. Pull up a chair and get cosy. If this looks a bit familiar then it is probably because I have introduced myself on this site before but for some reason my original page no longer seems to function properly so I am starting out afresh. This is probably my own fault as I am about as handy with a computer as a Camel is with a Violin. Anyhow , a little about myself.I am currently living in Aberdeen,Scotland but I am from Ireland. If you want to drop me a line ,you are more than welcome. I have many and varied interests from building model boats to astronomy,looking after cats, the internet(of course!), reading, writing,painting(badly),DIY,camping and the outdoors,movies, quotations,music and a whole lot of other stuff which I won't bore you with right now(But maybe later, if you ask nicely)My main interest, though, is meeting new and interesting people, and h2g2 is certainly the place to do that.There are some really great people you should look up, one of the best is Fenchurch M. Mercury,(I am no good at links , but she is easy enough to find, just use search to find"Fenchurch'es Misguided Ramblings" and your there. One link that I will try and post is the address for the SETI @ home project.If you have never heard of this , what it is,is a project set up by the SETI program to use peoples home computers to analyse data from the Aricebo Radio Telescope in the search for ET. You can do this on your own or you can become part of a group(such as the h2g2 recearchers) either way it is a great idea and it costs you nothing, plus there is the faint but intriguingly possible chance of achieving worldwide acclaim should it prove to be the block of info you process in which the signal is finally found, I know the chance is remote but hey, people buy lottery tickets every day.Anyway the link (hopefully) is as follows <LINK H2G2="A193231">TheSETI@HomeProject</LINK> .If this link does not work, you will find it linked elsewhere by people who actually know what they are doing, as opposed to a duffer like me. Well thats enough about that. I do not have any guide entries yet (maybe someday) but enjoy the guide ,thats what its there for!
