I guess we've both been in the wars...

....I guess the concept of a forum returning to its original subject shouldn't seem so strange...

and I walked around town this morning with no undue discomfortsmiley - smiley

That's good that you can walk, and I was only in mild discomfort.

As to a forum returning to it's original subject, well it's US, it rarely goes anywhere near the relevant subject.

No leg pulling, but I'd be interested in knowing what you thought I was pulling your leg about.

And I have heard worse puns; I used to watch Countdown with Richard Whitely. smiley - winkeye

Just speaking shit DE,it seemed appropiate (punwise). You are very gracious, but who isRichard Whitely,is that the dear old BBC?.
Its the next day now and the sun is shining brightly this morning so methinks a nice breakfast at nino's verandah would be appropiate.Catch you later.

The highly esteemed Mr Whitely presents a quiz show on the fourth terrestrial channel(named funnily enough Channel 4, though it is not related in anyway to the BBC) here in the UK called countdown, where guests have to try and come up with as long a word as possible from a selection of nine letters. In his hosting the show he regularly makes extremely bad puns, which is why I mentioned it.

So which part of the world are you from then?

(I can't understand how people do the "Conundrum"... its a nine letter anagram, they tend to see it in under 5 seconds...)

These days i can be found in South Africa,as often as possible in the bush further north. However i was born and bred (well...um...kind of bred) in London.
Thanks for the explanation,it jogged my memory and in fact i have seen the show somewhere in the past. The one time when i got the conundrum it was the greatest show in the world...the other few times it was crap...lol.
